This websites opinion on dropping the atomic bombs was that it was unnecessary to end the war. There reasoning behind it is that it saved about one million Allied soldiers from death. Another good point they bring up is that the Japanese were told that death from war is an honer, so surrender wasn't an potion for them.

On this site a young a young girl states her opinion that they should not have been that devastated. Her reasoning behind this statement is that the bombing of Tokyo did way more damage and a lot more bombs were dropped. There were only 2 bombs dropped o, they just happen to be bigger.
